QSi is a Whanganui based, Australasian leader in the health and safety market. Drawing on over 70 years of global safety experience and more than 40 years of manufacturing, QSi has earned a reputation for innovating, manufacturing and supplying the very best health and safety products.

With the dedication and hard work of an experienced team over many years, QSi has become a world class producer of respirators and face masks, manufactured and tested to AS/NZS 1716:2012 standards.

In late 2020, QSi has been under new ownership by a dedicated group of Kiwis with vast experience in manufacturing, exporting and logistics.

Since taking over the business, there has been a significant investment to build manufacturing, quality assurance and in-house testing capability and scale up manufacturing opportunities reaching into domestic and global markets.

We are committed to quality, and with additional new products being developed and released in coming months, we’ve invested in a state-of-the-art laboratory, which enables continuous testing of all masks and respirators to AS/NZS 1716:2012 standards for an array of different environments found by wearers in health care, medical and industrial applications.

This capability allows us to undertake research and development along with continuously batch testing during production, giving you the confidence that all products meet our stringent, quality control system. 

Our external auditor and certifier, BSI, regularly assesses our manufacturing and testing facilities to certify we are meeting these conformity claims and has awarded us with a benchmark product we are proud to say is made in New Zealand.
